Inside

Interior plastering and skimming

Ceilings, walls, chimney breasts, loft conversions and extensions. Most of these were photographed the day the plaster went on, so the colour is still wet — the point is the flatness of the surface and how clean the edges and reveals are. More detail on our plastering page.

About These Projects

Every photograph here is our own work

None of these are stock images. They were all taken on jobs A.I. Myles Plastering carried out within about 20 miles of Dorking, for a mix of private homeowners and commercial clients — from a single chimney breast through to shop and office refurbishments that needed a team on site.

Interior shots are usually taken while the plaster is still curing, which is why the walls look pink or brown rather than the pale grey they dry to. What is worth looking at is the flatness across the wall, the crispness of the internal and external angles, and how the finish meets the window reveals, ceilings and skirtings. Those are the details that decide how the room looks once it is painted.
